About us

The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church is a Christian fellowship driven by care and compassion.

Members of the Church have lived and worked in the UK for nearly 200 years and are committed to serving the communities where they live and work through extensive charitable activity.

Embedded in the local community

In Rutland and the surrounding areas, members of the Church have been gathering since the 1880s.

The Church has an established record of supporting the local community in Ketton and the wider Rutland area. This includes through the Rapid Relief Team, a charity made up of volunteers from the Church.

Recent examples of this support include providing meals to healthcare staff at Rutland Memorial Hospital, assisting at a Cheer Club event in Stamford, and supporting emergency services with a training exercise at Kendrew Barracks.

The new Gospel Hall represents an important opportunity to continue and strengthen these charitable and community efforts by serving as a modern, purpose-built space that is better suited as a hub for the local congregation.
